The article below is one of many great faith-based responses to recent events that I have come across lately. The one thing I would add is that I think the basic sentiment applies across other faith groups as well. Members of all faith groups have moments of pride and moments of shame. All we can do is work together, as members of all faith groups, so that we collectively have more to be proud of than to be ashamed of. 🙂

Just had this article passed on to me. Well written summary of some of the challenges that come around extended family discussions (ie extended family of sponsored groups who are still looking for sponsors) when involved in refugee sponsorship. Worth reading for anybody who is involved in sponsorship or wants to learn more.
